Getting the right people into the right positions — and developing the leaders your business needs to grow.
Perhaps the most important task of the CEO, President or business owner relates to getting the ‘right’ people into the ‘right’ positions in their organizations. Over the years, we have developed a number of approaches to building stronger managers and leaders.
Very early on, we recognized that rapidly growing businesses need people with essentially technical skills to become managers of other people with technical skills. And often, the problem is that these people do not know how to manage other people. As a result, we developed the T2M and T2L programs. We can help your people become high functioning managers and leaders.
Many CEOs, Presidents and business owners complain that parts of their organization don’t effectively collaborate with one another. Silos develop, communication breaks down, and the organization’s performance suffers. We can help break down those barriers and build the cross-functional communication your organization needs.
Many of the important conversations that occur at senior levels of organizations relate to aspects of the business or the environment that are changing. As a result, managers and leaders are required to make decisions regarding how they deal with — and if possible, take advantage of — the change. We have helped many individual leaders deal more effectively with change.
After working with CEOs, Presidents and business owners for over 20 years, I believe that culture will trump strategy, every time. The best strategies mean nothing in isolation. If a company’s strategy conflicts with the beliefs of managers and leaders, or how they behave or make decisions, the strategy is doomed to fail. By the same token, leaders operating in a strong culture can turn so-so strategies into winners. We have done a lot of work in corporate culture.

"Peter's guidance in the area of leadership development and staff transition with my team stands out like a beacon guiding mariners across challenging waters to safe harbour. Knowing he was there with the team provided a level of comfort and security. I would strongly recommend Peter for any leadership transition program."
